Will Hurd, a moderate Texas conservative and Trump pundit, declares run for president

Previous U.S. Rep. Will Hurd, R-Helotes, declared Thursday he is running for president, turning into the main Texan with experience in elective office to enter the conservative essential.

Hurd, who addressed Texas in Congress from 2015-21, starts his mission as a significant dark horse. He is a shameless moderate and a Donald Trump pundit in a party where many stay faithful to the previous president and leader for the 2024 conservative designation.
