Ferri is going into lockup in an attempt to raise money for the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA). She needs to raise $3,200 to bail her out of jail. The funds collected will be used to help adults and children in the community who have been stricken with muscular dystrophy.
“Title Junction is a community business and this is one of our ways of giving back to people within our community who need help and support. It’s a unique and fun way to do something charitable and I’m confident I will make the bail money and get out of jail,” said Jennifer Ferri, owner and operator of Title Junction (http://www.title-junction.com).
The 2011 South Fort Myers Lockup is going to be held in Fort Myers, Florida on September 28th, where Ferri and other participants will go behind bars. The Muscular Dystrophy Association is a nonprofit health agency dedicated to curing muscular dystrophy, ALS and related diseases by funding worldwide research. The MDA supports more research on neuromuscular diseases than any other private-sector organization in the world.
